GOOGLE analytics

As a manager that wants to monitor the website traffic & statistics, you can setup an auto rule e-mail on you analytics account. The system will send to your mailbox the defined report on the schedule that was set on your account. Also you can set up your colleague e-mails and they will receive it too – it’s an effective tool that brings the report to you instead of you looking for the report ..

December 1st, 2009

By the end of October, Google introduced expanded mobile reporting features in Google Analytics. This set of features will help developers to increase their control on the user experience for mobile applications. It includes features that make it easy to see how people are using specific parts of their iphone and Android applications. The same Google Analytics reports that provide insights into website traffic are now available for mobile applications.

Shazam – identify your music tracks

November 20th, 2009

I downloaded so many mobile applications lately, most of them are fun .. you use them for 2-3 days, and then forget about them. The next time you meet those applications, is when you don’t have enough space on your memory card, and you’re looking for garbage that can be deleted ….

It is hard to find brilliant applications, those types of applications that from the beginning you can feel the spark. I got the chance to download a brilliant one this week, It’s called Shazam !

With Shazam you can identify music tracks, buy music, and share tags with friends. So next time you visit your local bar and hear a nice track.. there is no need to bother the DJ .. Just Shazam It !

You can download it at:

Nokia – Ovi Store

BlackBerry – BlackBerry App World

iPhone – iTunes Store

Android – Android Market

It is definitely my favorite mobile application for 2009

Cheers !

Internet Marketing Plan

October 23rd, 2009

So.. when it comes to internet marketing, you will not get very far without a plan. The internet marketing plan determines how the website should be marketed, the projections for the success of marketing the website and the target market of the website. These aspects will help to create a successful marketing plan for your website and will enable your company to create the most profits from the website.

Here are few tips.. the detailed marketing plan should include:

  • The target market should determine the demographics of the people, that you are going to market the website to & that will provide more information about the products and services, that are being offered through the website.
  • Analyzing techniques that will be used, these techniques may include banner ads, Google organic & Adwords, link exchanges and SEO, mailing list, social networks as well as other popular formats of internet marketing.
  • Branding should be discussed. What tactics are you going to use to build the brand, what tactics are you going to use to establish credibility in the brand?

When the internet marketing plan has been completed the advantages of internet marketing can truly be established. Internet marketing is not only less expensive than traditional marketing endeavors; it provides an ally for the webmaster to develop relationships with webmasters from other websites. The more relationships that are developed, the higher the profits can be.
